KING'S LYNN boss Dale Allitt says his side should show no fear when they travel to Wolverhampton for the first leg of their Knockout Cup tie on Monday (7.30).

The Trucks 'R' Us Stars have picked up plenty of momentum since their league visit to Monmore Green last month, winning all four of their meetings since.

Allitt is hoping to keep the tie as close as possible ahead of the second leg at The Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday, June 14 and says gating will be of high importance.

"We obviously need to improve on our last performance at Wolverhampton where we lost heavily (59-30) and we need to be sharper out of the starts," said Allitt.

"Wolverhampton is always a tough place to go to but we're starting to ride with a bit of confidence now so the team are up for it.

"If we can't get the win, then the aim is to keep it as tight as we possibly can to give us a good chance for when they come to our place in a couple of weeks."

Wolverhampton have booked Scott Nicholls to guest at No.1 in place of Grand Prix star Freddie Lindgren who is out with a knee injury.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Scott Nicholls, Kyle Howarth, Rory Schlein, Jacob Thorssell, Sam Masters, Mark Riss, Nathan Greaves

KING'S LYNN: Chris Holder, Lewis Rose, Nicklas Porsing, Troy Batchelor, Robert Lambert, Kai Huckenbeck, Simon Lambert.
